The 14 Indian sailors, who had been deserted in Yemen, flew back from Dubai to Mumbai on December 5. They left for India after they have been released by the local Houthi authorities in Yemen in November. Reportedly, the sailors were detained from February 2020, after their ship submerged in the Gulf of Aden and seamen lost their identification documents. The Indian embassy in Yemen and Saudi rescued the seamen.
