Man Allegedly Rapes 16-Year-Old Girl In Vehicle: Gurugram

In the Farrukhnagar area, a man lured a 16-year-old girl from his village, and raped her in the vehicle, the police said on March 2. The accused identified as Sanjay alias Chhota has been registered under POCSO Act and is currently absconding. The matter came into light after victim's mother filed a missing report. Acting upon complaint, the police recovered the girl from the school gate, said SHO Vikas Kumar.

Police Bust Sex Racket Operating From Spa In Gurugram; 3 Arrested

Abinay (manager) Dinesh and Harpreet (customers) were arrested for allegedly operating a sex racket. On February 24, Delhi police busted a sex racket operating from a spa in Sector 31, Gurugram. After arresting Abinay, Dinesh and Harpreet, police warned five women working at the spa and let them go. Furthermore, spa owner Deepak, is reportedly absconding. Notably, the police registered a case under Immoral Traffic Prevention Act.

Hoopr, a Mumbai-based music licensing company marketplace, said that it raised $1.5 million in its seed round of funding led by 9Unicorns and Venture Catalysts. "We'll continue to invest in growing our library and building features on the Hoopr platform across the next 12 months,'' said Gaurav Dagaonkar, CEO of Hopper. Hoopr was founded by IIM-Ahmedabad alumnus Gaurav Dagaonkar and serial entrepreneur Meghna Mittal in 2021.

Religious Offerings In Open Spaces Will Not Be Tolerated: CM Manohar

Haryana CM Manohar Lal Khattar on December 10, said that offering namaz in public places will not be tolerated. "I have told the police to resolve the issue. There is no problem with people offering namaz at their designated place... The issue will be resolved amicably," he mentioned. However, Gurugram administration withdrew its permission to offer namaz at eight out of 37 sites in November.

Bharat Bandh Creates Traffic Jam On The Delhi-Gurugram Border

Passengers on the Delhi-Gurugram-Rajokri Expressway have to face massive traffic congestion on September 27 due to the Bharat Bandh called by the Samyukt Kisan Morcha's (SKM). However, no protests were reported in Guruam but the traffic jam was caused by checking because Delhi police were inspecting every vehicle before allowing the pass. The Bandh was started at 6 AM and it will continue till 4 PM.
