Vehicular Movement Suspended On Srinagar-Jammu Highway Amid Landslide
The Jammu and Kashmir traffic police on March 3, informed that due to landslides at Shabanbas Banihar, the vehicular movement has been suspended on the Srinagar-Jammu highway. Meanwhile, the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted heavy rainfall in the western Himalayan region on March 6. Ancient Trans Bhutan Trail Reopens For Travelers After 60 Years
The 500-year-old Trans Bhutan Trail will reopen for the first time in 60 years for travelers from April 2022. It is a 402 km trail that connects 9 districts, two municipalities, one national park, 28 local governments, and 400 historic and cultural sites. The Trans Bhutan Trail is funded by the Bhutan Canada Foundation. Travelers can explore 18 major bridges, even climb 10000 stairs, and can see the incredible eastern Himalayan region.
