Heavy Rainfall In Maharashtra For 3 Days: IMD
According to Indian Meteorological Department, Maharashtra is likely to witness heavy rainfall starting from August 17 until August 19 except the Vidarbha region. The satellite observations in the region show very intense clouds over the east coast of Maharashtra, Central Maharashtra, including parts of Marathwada. Cloudburst Wreaks Havoc In Uttarakhand; 3 Dead, 4 Missing
Three people have died and four are reported missing due to a cloudburst in Uttarakhand's Uttarkashi district, on July 18. According to Inspector Jagdamba Prasad of the State Disaster Response Force, there're two women, one man, and a child among the missing. However, the rescue operation is ongoing and the death toll could rise. Notably, IMD had also issued the warning of cloudburst for July 18-19 in Uttarakhand.
