Indore Police Seize Over 16,000 kg Of Cannabis; 5 Held

Indore police have arrested five persons for storing16,000 kg of illegal cannabis, worth Rs 50 lakh in a godown on January 5. "We got information that cannabis was being stored illegally in a godown. Our team raided the spot," Additional DCP, Guru Prasad Parashar told ANI. Earlier, on January 5, in a different case, two people were arrested for trafficking Rs 3.15 cannabis in Indore. However, further investigation is underway.

Indore Man Files Complaint; Vicky Kaushal Uses Bike No. Without Permission

Madhya Pradesh's Indore police received a complaint against Bollywood actor Vicky Kaushal. The complainant said that his bike was used by Bollywood actor Vicky Kaushal in a movie without permission. 'This is illegal. The film unit can't use my number plate,' read the complaint by Jai Singh Yadav. However, the police said that action will be taken as per provisions of the Motor Vehicles Act after the investigation.

Former Air Hostess Arrested With MDMA Drugs Worth Rs 10 Lakh

Indore Police on December 19, has arrested a former air hostess with with MDMA drugs, worth Rs 10 lakh. The drugs were in illegal market concealed in diapers. "It has been found that members of her network brought the drugs from Mumbai to Indore, concealing in diapers, " said Police Commissioner Harinarayanchari Mishra, in a press conference. Besides, Nepal and Bahrain currencies were also seized and an investigation is underway.

Leopard Cub Escapes From Cage While On Way To Indore: MP

Uttam Yadav, in charge of Kamala Nehru Zoological Museum Indore, said that a six-month-old leopard cub escaped from its cage on the night of December 1. Reportedly, it escaped when it was being brought to Indore from Burhanpur for treatment. Yadav further stated that the cub escaped because the cage was not strong and there was rust all upon it.

Indore Registers 13 New Covid-19 Cases, 9 Of Them Were Army officers: Report

Indore recorded 13 new cases of Covid-19 in the previous 24 hours. Nine of the 13 incidents involve Army personnel, some of whom were enrolled at the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Indore for a course. Although these officers were properly vaccinated and asymptomatic, they were admitted to the Mhow military hospital. According to reports, the death toll in Covid has increased to 1,393 in the city.
