South Indian actor Chetan Kumar got into trouble for his tweet, claimed to be objectionable against the Hindutva in India. The actor was arrested on March 21, confirmed the Sheshadripuram police, which registered a case against Chetan. Notably, the tweet of Chetan, saying Hindutva is built on lies, hurt the religious sentiments of Hindus, following which a case was filed by a pro-Hindu organisation.

In a horrific incident, a man allegedly raped a minor in school premises. The incident occurred on Holi, in Bihar's Begusarai district. The police confirmed the incident and said, the victim and her friend, stopped at school to enjoy the swing ride, when the accused identified as Chotu Kumar, raped the seven-year-old and assaulted her friend, a nine-year-old in an intoxicated state. The police registered a case and arrested Kumar.

In a horrific incident, a 56-year-old man was lynched amid suspicion of carrying beef. The incident occurred on March 9, in Bihar's Siwan district. The victim was identified as Naseem Qureshi, a resident of Hasanpur village. He was going to meet someone with his nephew, when a mob allegedly intercepted them at Jogia village and thrashed Nazeem Qureshi with wooden sticks.
