Indian Railways Initiates 'Meri Saheli' For Female Passengers' Safety
The Indian Railways has begun a new initiative, 'Meri Saheli', in order to ensure safe journey to female travellers. Under the initiative, a squad of women RPF personnel will educate female passengers at boarding stations about safety precautions and advice them to call '182' in any untoward situation. Besides, the seat number of female passengers will also be recorded and passed to en route stops for continuous watch.

Karnataka's "Golden Chariot" Train Gets An Upgrade; Resumes Services From Jan 2021
