Kaliganj

In Assam's Kaliganj area, police have arrested two drug peddlers and seized Rs 20 lakh worth drugs from their possession, on June 3. The accused have been identified as Nur Hussain and Monirul Islam. According to the police, the duo had stored four packs of suspected heroin in four soap boxes. The drugs weighed up to 43 grams, and are expected to have a market value of Rs 20 lakh.
