Kareena Kapoor Khan Walks The LFW Ramp 7 Months After Giving Birth
Kareena Kapoor Khan walked the ramp seven months after the birth of her second son, as a "showstopper" in a white shimmering gown for designer Gaurav Gupta for his grand finale show at the Lakme Fashion Week on October 10. During the show, she also expressed her concern about Covid-19. Kareena also praised the designer, “This time the collection is so different. I love his work so much this time".

Lakme Fashion Week, Fashion Design Council Unite To Hold Joint Event
After a 15-year gap, two big fashion weeks - Lakme and RISE Worldwide, and Fashion Design Council of India - are merging into one single show that will transpire in a hybrid format. Slated for an online public showcase from March 16 to 21, the collaborative fashion week has jolted the Indian fashion fraternity and fashion enthusiasts with excitement. Additionally, the event will witness the release of a brand-new unity logo.

Lakme Fashion Week to Go Digital in October 2020 on Dedicated Platform
Lakme Fashion Week (LFW) on September 17 stated that the 2020 fashion show would go digital in October. Reportedly, a dedicated advance platform has been created to host the event that will go live from October 21 to 25. Head of Lifestyle Businesses at IMG Reliance Jaspreet Chandok said that the fashion industry needed a "conscious new direction" to withstand the disruptions caused by the COVID-19 pandemic.
