NIA Files Chargesheet Against 6 In LTTE Funding Case: Tamil Nadu
After taking over the case from Tamil Nadu police on January 18, National Investigation Agency (NIA) has filed a chargesheet against six persons in the LTTE funding case, on March 29. Main accused Letchumanan Mary Franciska (50) was arrested in Chennai airport last year, for using a fake passport. The case pertains to the criminal conspiracy of reviving the fallen LTTE. LTTE was known for waging war against Sri Lanka.
