Odisha Police Arrests 4 People In Alleged Lynching Case

In Odisha's Mayurbhanj, four people have been arrested for the alleged lynching of two private firm employees, Satyanarayan Nanda and  Phulchand Sharma, confirmed police on April 22. As per PTI, the victim's car mowed down a villager named Harihar Sethi (55).  After the incident, angry villagers mob-lynched the two employees, of which Nanda died and Sharma is being treated at a hospital. Man Dies After Being Lynched For Allegedly Stealing Goat: Assam

In Mamarani village of Assam's Golaghat district, the 45-year-old Sanjay Das succumbed to his injuries after being lynched by three persons, said a police officer on January 2. The police have registered the case on the complaint of the victim's family and have arrested two accused so far. Reportedly, the three accused lynched Das for allegedly stealing a goat. The goat belongs to one of the accused, reported PTI.

Man Beaten To Death In Uttar Pradesh's Ghaziabad In Busy Road

In a horrific incident, a man was beaten to death on a busy road in Uttar Pradesh's Ghaziabad and none of the passersby had bothered to help the victim. The deceased Ajay had a quarrel with the accused Govind over setting up a flower shop. The victim’s brother informed that he lodged a complaint, which was neglected by police with a compromise. Facing a backlash, Police have registered a case against the accused.
