Mahakaleshwar temple

The famous Mahakaleshwar temple at Ujjain in Madhya Pradesh has reopened for devotees on June 28. Meanwhile, an online permission is required for the deity's 'darshan' in the temple. Besides, one has to get at least one dose of a vaccine or carry a two-day-old RT-PCR negative test report in order to enter the temple. Following the rise of COVID-19 cases in the state, It was closed on April 9, 2021.
