Asian Paints Co-founder and Non-executive Director Ashwin Dani passed away at the age of 79. Dani joined the company, now among Asia's biggest paint companies, in 1968. The company was established by his father and three others in 1942. Moreover, Dani’s son, Malav, is also a member of the company’s board. According to Forbes, Dani’s net worth as of 2023 is $7.1 billion. After Ashwin's death shares fell by 4%.
