WhatsApp Bans 17.5 Lakh Accounts In Nov 2021: IT Rules

In compliance with the new IT Rules 2021, WhatsApp banned 17,59,000 accounts in November across India. The meta-owned company also took action on 36 grievance reports out of 602 reports. ''We will continue to bring more transparency to our work and include more information about our efforts in future reports,'' said WhatsApp in its statement. Earlier in October, it banned over 20 lakh accounts.

Several Brands Around The World Join In On ‘Meta’ Jokes, But Wendy's Steals The Show

When Facebook Inc's new logo and name "Meta," was introduced on October 28, social media exploded with memes. Several firms around the world joked about altering their names, with some comparing the name to foods like pita and feta. Wendy's, American fast-food business, stole the show when they changed their Twitter handle to "Meat." While the joke was intended to be amusing, Facebook didn't mind and engaged in friendly conversation.
