FWICE Comes Out In Support Of BB Contestant Sajid Khan
The Federation of Western India Cine Employees (FWICE) has written a letter to the minister of information and broadcasting, Anurag Thakur in support of the filmmaker Sajid Khan. Khan, who is in "Bigg Boss 16" house is receiving hatred and flak. In the letter, the FWICE urged, Sajid's right to earn his living, especially when he has been through a lot of humiliation already, after harassment allegations during #MeToo.

Sona Mohapatra Praises Rekha's Presence At Indian Idol; Slams Anu Malik
Singer Sona Mohapatra, via Twitter, has expressed her happiness over veteran Bollywood actress Rekha's presence in Sony TV's Indian Idol show. However, she also slammed the channel for calling composer Anu Malik at the show considering the fact that he was also an accused of sexual harassment during the #MeToo movement in India. In her tweet, Sona called Malik a "serial sexual predator" and "pervert".

Priya Ramani Ruled 'Not Guilty' Against Akbar's Defamation Lawsuit
Delhi High Court on February 17 acquitted journalist Priya Ramani and held her 'not guilty' against a defamation case filed by journalist-politician MJ Akbar. Considered a landmark judgement, the court ruled, "The right of reputation cannot be protected at the cost of right to dignity". The case dates back to 2018 when Ramani was booked for defamation after accusing her former boss Akbar of sexual harassment during the #MeToo movement.
