Mexico Women Protests For 'Legalizing Abortions', Pro-Choice Laws
The protests to 'legalize abortions' got heated as the women protesting resorted to violence and charged at the police lines in the Mexico City. Reportedly, the police used tear-gas to control the situation after the protestors threw molotov cocktails at them. Women in Mexico have been pushing for pro-choice laws across the country, as it is legal in only a few states and only for exceptional cases.

Mexico Seeks Report from US Over Alleged Migrant Abuse at Detention Centres
Mexico has asked a report from the US for allegedly abusing immigrants in detention centers. Mexico: Women Activists Vandalize Human Rights Offices in Protest Against Insufficient Governance

Mexico Records Highest COVID-19 Fatalities Among Health Workers: Amnesty
A report from Amnesty International claims that Mexico's health workers are the worst hit in the pandemic. Out of 7,000 medical workers' death globally, Mexico's tally is 1,320. Besides, Reuters analyzed that fatality risk of Mexican healthcare staff in August was four times higher than the US and eight times more than Brazil. Earlier this week, Mexico government informed that at least 102,494 health workers had contracted coronavirus.
