Earthquake Of 6.1 Magnitude Jolts Moro Gulf In Philippines

An earthquake of magnitude 6.1 on the richter scale hit Moro Gulf in Philippines, on August 13. Notably, Moro Gulf is situated in Mindanao region. According to the European Mediterranean Seismology Centre (EMSC), the earthquake was at a depth of 10 kms, which is around 6.21 miles.
