Nepal Bans Haryana Mountaineers For Faking Mount Everest Summit
Over accusations of counterfeiting, Nepal's Tourism Ministry (MoCTCA) has dismissed the summit certificate issued to Haryana-based mountaineers Narender Singh Yadav and Seema Rani besides fining guide and organisers. Nepal To Turn Everest Trash Into Artwork For Environmental Awareness
In an environmental awareness move, Nepal has planned to turn the trash left by Mt Everest trekkers into artwork. Project coordinator Tommy Gustafsson, founder of Sagarmatha Next Centre, said the move will involve foreign and local artists into this initiative.
