Russia To Send Actress, Director To Int. Space Station For Movie Shoot

Russian space agency Roscosmos will be sending actress Yuria Peresild and director Klim Shipenko to shoot a film at the International Space Station. Titled "Challenge", the expedition for the space-drama will begin from October 5 after the selected candidates clear the basic tests. Reportedly, Hollywood actor Tom Cruise is also scheduled to visit the ISS in October for his next film, backed by NASA and Elon Musk.

Original Star Wars' Darth Varder Actor David Prowse Passes Away At 85

The man behind the black mask of the original Star Wars trilogy villain Darth Vader, David Prowse, died at 85 on November 28. Prowse, a weightlifter-turned-actor, made his cinematic debut with 1967's Casino Royale in the role of Frankenstein’s Monster. However, he was well-famed for his role of Green Cross Man in the British road safety campaign. He was also the personal trainer of  Christopher Reeve for the role of Superman (1978).

Former James Bond actor Sir Sean Connery has passed away at 90, as the BBC reported on October 31. His son Jason Connery informed that the actor was "unwell for some time" and died during his sleep. The legendary Scottish actor depicted James Bond character in seven films of the series. Sir Connery won numerous awards including an Oscar in 1988 for his role in 'The Untouchables'.
