A Russian aeroplane received a bomb threat, following which the Indian Civil Aviation Department alerted at the Delhi Indira Gandhi International Aiport, On October 14, morning, the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) received an e-mail warning of a bomb on the flight, with 386 passengers and 14 crew members, who were evacuated immediately. Furthermore, an investigation is also underway in this regard.

Russia's Federal Security Services detained eight people on Wednesday in connection with the explosion that damaged the Crimea Bridge last week. Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko gifted Russian President Vladimir Putin a tractor for his 70th birthday. This came when all the leaders of the ex-Soviet nations met at the Czarist-era Konstantin Palace in St Petersburg. Notably, tractors have been the pride of Belarusian industries since soviet times. Lukashenko told the reporters that he used a model in his garden, similar to the one he gifted Putin.

Elon Musk who received criticism for his series of tweets on Russian invasion of Ukraine, has made another tweet stating, “War is the ultimate Supreme Court”. This too, has been criticised widely, and some have asked him to delete the tweet entirely. Musk’s tweet is being interpreted as a show of support to Russia. However, Musk has dismissed such claims and expressed his neutrality in the war.

Russia has been accused of “kidnapping” the head of nuclear power plant in Ukraine’s Russia occupied Zaporizhzhia. The victim identified as Ihor Murashov was reportedly detained while on his way to the town of Enerhodar. Murashov was taken at around 4 pm on September 30. “He was taken out of the car, and with his eyes blindfolded he was driven in an unknown direction, said a state agency.
