Pilot Strike Of Lufthansa Airlines Creates Ruckus At Delhi Airport
A huge ruckus was reported at the Indira Gandhi International Airport, after German carrier Lufthansa airlines cancelled almost all passenger and cargo flights on September 2. The flights were cancelled from Frankfurt and Munich, due to planned strike action by pilots. Notably, the pilots staged a protest strike, amid a hike in salary demands. Germany Seizes Apartments Owned By Russian Lawmaker & Wife Under EU Sanctions
Abiding by the sanctions imposed by European Union against the Russian invasion of Ukraine, Germany has seized three apartments owned by Russian lawmaker and his wife. The couple jointly owned two apartments in the Bavarian city and the wife solely owned one in Munich. Besides the apartments, their bank accounts have also been seized. The residents are allowed to stay in the buildings, but should pay the rent at court.
