National Centre for seismology

According to the National Centre for Seismology, an earthquake of 4.0 magnitude on the richer scale occurred near Hyderabad on July 26 at 5 am. Reportedly, the epicenter of the earthquake was 156 km south of the city and it occurred at ''a depth of 10 kilometers'' from the surface. However, no loss of life and damage to property were reported so far.
