National War Memorial Flame To Merge With Amar Jawan Jyoti Flame: Indian National Army
Amar Jawan Jyoti Flame and National War Flame will be merged on January 21, said the Indian Army Official. Announced on January 20, the step came days ahead of R-Day. Notably, Integrated Defence Staff Chief Air Marshal Balabadhra Radha Krishna will extinguish the flame at Indian Gate Memorial and will be merged with the Amar Jawan Jyoti Flame at National War Memorial, constructed by the Modi Government in 2019.

French Defence Minister Florence Parly To Visit Delhi
Florence Parly, Defence Minister of France, is set to arrive at Delhi on December 17. Reportedly, the visit will help in strengthening Indo-French strategic and defence ties, ''particularly maritime security in Indo-Pacific'' region. ''She'll call on PM Modi and hold Annual Defence Dialogue with her Indian counterpart, Rajnath Singh,'' said French Embassy in a statement.
