Karnataka Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai filed the nomination from Shiggaon Assembly constituency on April 15, for the upcoming Assembly elections. Basavaraj Bommai has filed his paper on a Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) ticket and is going to be one of the strongest candidate of the ruling BJP for the 2023 Karnataka Assembly elections. Recently, the BJP released its first and second list of candidates for the elections.
