NEET 2020: J&K Shopkeeper's Twins Fly High With Big Triumph

In the recently declared NEET results, twin sons of a shop-owner in Baramulla, Jammu and Kashmir have cleared the examination with good score. Residents of Batpora village, Gowhar Bashir and Shakir Bashir scored 657 and 651 marks respectively in the 720-mark medical-entrance test. Bashir Ahmad, father of the twins, said though he earned less from his shop, he supported his children by doing extra jobs along with his wife.

AILET, CLAT Exams to Held On September 26 And 28 Respectively

The law entrance exams, All India Law Entrance Test (AILET) and Common Law Admission Test (CLAT), are scheduled to be held on September 26 and 28 respectively. The National Testing Agency stated that the AILET exam for admissions at National Law University, Delhi will be conducted from 11 am to 12.30 pm. CLAT, for securing admissions to other law universities, will be conducted from 2 pm to 4 pm.

Admissions at AIIMS and JIPMER Will be Based on the NEET Score

According to the National Testing Agency (NTA), admissions at AIIMS and JIPMER will be done based on the NEET score. This year 85-90% of the students appeared for the NEET 2020, held on September 13. Reportedly, a total of 15.9 lakh candidates registered for the exam. All the aspirants who have tested positive for COVID-19, will get another opportunity and the dates will be announced later.

JEE Mains 2020 Results Out; 24 Students Score 100 Percentile

JEE Begins from September 1 in the Midst of Protests

Amid nationwide opposition against holding examination during the COVID-19, the JEE Main for admission to IITs began from September 1. The union government earlier in its statement said that the exam needed to be conducted otherwise the students' academic year would have been in loss. Meanwhile, Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank wished the students by tweeting, "My best wishes for the bright future of all of you!”

National Testing Agency Reveals Blueprint For JEE Exam Preparation

The blueprint adopted by the NTA for JEE Main has issued 10 lakh masks and gloves, 1,300 infrared thermometer guns, 3,300 spray bottles, 6,600 litres of hand sanitizer, 6,600 sponges, and 3,300 cleaning staff.
