UP's Kanpur Registers World's First Case Of 'Optic Neuritis'

The world’s first patient of 'Optic Neuritis' from black fungus is found in UP's Kanpur. Ashish, a 30-year-old was suffering from it since the last 15 days, and is admitted to 'Hallett Hospital'. Asked about effects, the doctors said the nerves of the eyes become inflamed due to which it may stop sending messages to brain or occur in lost vision. Besides the treatment, a research has also been initiated.
