The 26th Kolkata International Film Festival, which will be held from January 8-15, 2021, will screen Pankaj Tripathi-starrer short film Laali. The short film was inspired by director Abhiroop Basu's experience and showcased a tale of loneliness and longing for love. Amazon Prime Video has officially renewed 'Mirzapur' for a third season. Reportedly, the second season of the web-series became the most-watched show on its platform, just a week after its release. Kunal Khemu, Pankaj Tripathi and Abhishek Banerjee to Star in Amazon's New Web Series
Amazon Prime Video has signed Kunal Khemu and Pankaj Tripathi to play the lead roles in their new web series titled 'Ashwalinga'. The project will be bankrolled by the makers of Family Man, Raj & DK. The show will be a satirical comedy, set in the times of 'Kama Sutra' and will also star Abhishek Banerjee. Directed by Rahi Anil Barve of Tumbbad fame, the series will explore folklore and mythology.

Amazon Prime Video Announces Release of Mirzapur Season 2
Amazon Prime Video on August 21 announced the second season of its web series "Mirzapur". The streaming platform on its Twitter handle shared a teaser video of the web series with a tagline saying "Ab aa Raha hai". Apparently, it will be released in September; however, the official date for the same has not been announced yet. The season will mark the tenth Indian web-series from Amazon in 2020.
