Netflix Announces End To Password Sharing In India
Netflix on July 20, announced that it has ended password sharing in India. Furthermore, only members of a household will be able to access one account. The decision is part of a global crackdown, which was announced in May earlier on users sharing passwords with people beyond their immediate family. The company wanted to shore their revenue, which has been affected due to password sharing, confirmed sources.

Netflix Plans To End Password Sharing Of Account, Tests New Option
Streaming platform Netflix may soon disable the password sharing option. The company is working on a new feature that eyes to negate the chances of account sharing with end number of people. With this, Netflix will send a verification code to the original owner and the new users have to enter the code in order to access the account. It is targetted at ensuring that "people using Netflix accounts are authorized to do so.”
