Congress MLA Arrested In Nuh Violence Sent For 2-Day Police Remand
Congress MLA Mamman Khan was, on Friday, produced before a court in Nuh which sent him to two-day police remand, police said. Khan faces charges of instigating communal clashes in Haryana’s Nuh during a procession of Hindu groups on July 31 that killed six people. The Congress MLA was arrested by a SIT of the Haryana Police after his bail application before the Punjab and Haryana High Court was rejected.

No Relief From Bombay HC, Raj Kundra To Remain In Custody
The Bombay High Court on August 7 rejected actor Shilpa Shetty's husband Raj Kundra and accused Ryan Thorpe's plea demanding bail. Kundra alleged in the petition that the police cheated him by calling him to record his statement and arresting him instead. Notably, Kundra and Thorpe are in judicial custody and were arrested on July 19 and 20, respectively.
