Jharkhand Cops Under 'Police Uncle Tutorial' Initiative Help School Dropouts
The Jharkhand’s Simdega town police has come up with the 'Police Uncle Tutorial' to help young dropouts provide free coaching to pass Class X exams and make eligible for private and government jobs. Initiated by IPS Sanjeev Kumar, about 1,929 children have enrolled at the 19 centers. Also open for regular students, the move aims to help curb crimes, human trafficking and easy brainwashing of children by left-wing extremists.
