Prakash Jha To Direct Multilingual Series On PM PV Narasimha Rao

Filmmaker Prakash Jha is set to direct a multilingual series on former Prime Minister PV Narasimha Rao's life titled 'Half Lion'. The story is based on the book written by Vinay Sitapati. "It's exciting to work on real-life stories and subjects," said Prakash Jha. The movie will be released in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu in 2023. Notably, PV Narasimha Rao was the ninth Prime Minister of India from 1991-1996.

Court Serves Notice To 'Ashram' Actor, Director For Hurting Emotions

Jodhpur Court has served a notice to the 'Ashram' web series actor-director duo - Bobby Deol and Prakash Jha - on December 14. Reportedly, a lawyer from Jaunpur had filed a case in Jodhpur Court accusing the web-series of defaming 'Sanatan Dharam'. The Court will next hear this case on January 11, 2021. Both the seasons of Ashram had gained much popularity and were alleged of hurting religious sentiments.
