On September 10, Prime Minister Narendra Modi appreciated singer and Member of Parliament Babul Supriyo for his musical Tribute to the late President Pranab Mukherjee. Prime Minister in his tweet said, "A touching tribute to Pranab Da!" He also stated that Babul expressed the sentiments of the entire nation. Earlier, Babul recreated Ravindranath Tagore's "Dhaye Jeno Mor Shokol Bhalo Basha" song as a tribute to the late President.
