When asked why Karan Johar didn't approach SRK to do a cameo in Ranveer-Alia starter Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani, the director said, "I can't keep using it for no reason." Notably, Shah Rukh Khan gave cameos in many films, but it is interesting that for most, he didn't charge a penny. Some of the films SRK worked for free are: Brahmastra, Rocketry:The Nambi Effect, Krazzy-4 and Bhootnath Returns.

Filmmaker Anurag Kashyap called the recently released "Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani", the best film of producer-director Karan Johar.  The Dharma Production film, starring Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt, was released on July 28 and is making good business at the Box-Office. The film so far has minted over Rs 85 crores, worldwide, and is expected to gain more over the coming weekend.

After months of anticipation, filmmaker Karan Johar has finally returned to his signature style with "Rokcy Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani". Starring Alia Bhatt and Ranveer Singh as lead roles "Rokcy & Rani", the film is about their whirlwind lovestory.
