Amid the rising demand for sedition against those who celebrated Pakistan's victory in India after the recent Cricket World Cup, former Supreme Court Judge Justice Deepak Gupta said the action is not ''a crime''. ''It's ridiculous to think that it amounts to sedition,'' said Justice Gupta. Notably, the Chief Minister's office of UP has said Kashmiri students accused of celebrating Pakistan's Victory in Agra will be charged with sedition.
