Senior Kerala Congress Leader CF Thomas succumbed to cancer on September 27 at Thiruvalla. The 81-year-old Thomas was a MLA from Chanaganassery assembly constituency since 1980. He was also the Deputy Chairman of the Joseph faction of the Kerala Congress. Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan and the opposition leader Ramesh Chennithala expressed their grief on the death of CF Thomas.
