MP Shashi Tharoor has organised an IT panel to talk about the misuse of social media by political parties due to the alleged political "back and forth" between Congress and BJP, on September 2. Representatives from Facebook and Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology are expected to attend the meeting. Shashi Tharoor: Congress Must Elect a "Full-Term President"
Senior Congress leader Shashi Tharoor opined that the party must find a new full-term president to counter the perception that it is "rudderless". He expressed that though Rahul Gandhi has the capability to lead, if he resist to do so then the party must elect a new chief.
