Former Bangladesh Spinner Mosharraf Hossain Passes Away At 40

Former Bangladesh cricket star Mosharraf Hossain has passed away at the age of 40. The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) is mourning the loss of the cricketer. Hossain had been diagnosed with brain cancer back in 2019. While he made a recovery after treatment, his condition relapsed in the following year. He had been conferred with the 'Player of the Match' award in the final of the Bangladesh Premier League.

Haryana Govt Provisions Jobs For Sportspersons Under Dedicated Cadre

Haryana Government has decided to extend government jobs to the state's outstanding sportspersons by creating a dedicated cadre. Under the scheme, the sportspersons would be eligible to seek jobs within ten years of their achievement or up to the age of 42.
