13-Party Statement Leaves Out Telangana CM K Chandrashekar Rao

The joint statement expressing concerns over incidents of communal violence in India issued recently by top political leaders of thirteen different political parties has left out Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao. The move comes as a blow to his national political prospects. Rao has, in the past, expressed ambitions for replacing Modi, and has even called for the creation of a third-party with anti-BJP parties support.
