In West Bengal's Kaliganj region, several BJP leaders were detained in connection with the girl's murder case of BJP leader and a girl, who was claimed to be raped. As per sources, in reacting to the detention, many BJP leaders and workers staged protest and called for 12-hours protest, alleging police brutality on common people. Soon the matter became political, in which BJP alleged Mamata Banerjee-led TMC Government behind incident.
