Queen Elizabeth's Work Duties Reduced Due To Health Concerns

Due to concerns for Queen Elizabeth's health, her work responsibilities have been decreased. Queen Elizabeth II's role as head of state has been curtailed. According to reports, this is the first time Queen Elizabeth's position has been officially revised in a decade. The 96-year-old Queen Elizabeth had already encountered a number of health difficulties, including testing positive for COVID-19 in February.

India Defeats Northamptonshire By 10 Runs Due To Harshal Patel's All-around Efforts

India defeated Northamptonshire by a score of 10 runs on July 3 at Northampton County Grand owing to Harshal Patel's all-around effort. Harshal Patel's brilliant 54-run effort in 36 balls helped the Indian team achieve 149 runs for eight wickets in 20 overs. Harshal struck three sixes and five boundaries as India compiled a competitive score in their warm-up match. Northamptonshire was bowled out for 139 runs in 19.3 overs.

University Student Rushes To Toilet With Stomach Pain, Delivers Baby: UK

Jess Davis, a university student in United Kingdom, was taken aback when she went to the bathroom before a night out due to stomach pain and gave birth. She turned 20 a day after the baby was born, had no pregnancy signs, and mistook stomach pain for menstrual cramps. She also didn't have a pregnancy bump. Jess was rushed to the hospital, where the newborn was placed in an incubator.

UK Govt Releases New Scheme For World's Top 50 Non-UK Universities; Indian Universities Not Included

Under the new High Potential Individual (HPI) visa, graduates from the world's top 50 non-UK universities will be able to work in the UK. The list included two universities from China and two from Hong Kong. Unfortunately, no Indian universities were included on the list. The UK government has been reprimanded since none of the IITs reached the Top 50 list.

Depp headed to the stage with his guitar and Beck to sing their 2020 duet "Isolation," a version of John Lennon's 1970 song, during the event in Sheffield.

UK Records 20 New Cases Of Monkeypox Virus; Confirms Community Transmission

A health expert claimed on May 21 that Britain is witnessing frequent cases of the unusual monkeypox virus with no history of travel to West Africa. Susan Hopkins, chief medical adviser for the UK Health Security Agency, answered "absolutely" when questioned if community transmission was the norm in UK. Monkeypox is spread by contact with an infected person's skin lesions and fluids and shared objects such as mattresses and towels.
