Rupee Falls By 5 Paise To Rs 82.57 Against US Dollar

The rupee fell 5 paise to close at 82.57 (provisional) against the US dollar. The fall came after the Reserve Bank kept the key interest rate unchanged. At the interbank foreign exchange, the domestic unit opened at 82.59 against the dollar, and finally settled at 82.57 (provisional), down 5 paise from its previous close amid a negative trend in domestic equities.

Rupee Gains By 10 Paise, Stands At 82.06 Against US Dollars

The rupee gained 10 paise to 81.96 against the US dollar in early trade on Wednesday tracking the weakness of the American currency in the overseas market. In addition, the Forex traders said significant foreign fund inflows and easing crude oil prices supported the local unit. Moreover, the domestic unit opened at 82.06 against the dollar and rose to 81.96, registering a gain of 10 paise over its previous close.

Indian Rupee Hit All Time Low, Settles At 82.29 Against USD

The rupee depreciated 37 paise to 82.29 against the US dollar in early trade on March 8.  The depriciation strengthen the American currency in the overseas market and a negative trend in domestic equities. Furthermore, at the interbank foreign exchange, the domestic unit opened weak at 82.25 against the dollar, then fell to 82.29, registering a decline, especially after rupee settled at 81.92 against the US dollar recently.

Rupee Declines By 39 Paise, At All Time Low Of 82.69 Against US Dollar

In the trade market, Indian currency continued to fall and depreciate against the US Dollar, giving concerns to investors and traders. On October 10, the rupee fell by 39 paise, to an all-time low of 82.69 against the US dollar, whereas the dollar index, which gauges the greenback's strength against a basket of six currencies, was trading 0.02% higher at 112.81.

Rupee Falls By 14 Paise; All Time Low At 82.33 Against US Dollar

Rupee Appreciates By 35 Paise To 81.58 Against US Dollar

After an all-time low of 40 paise, the rupee increased by 35 paise, to 81.58 against US Dollar, in the early market. On September 29, At the interbank foreign exchange, the domestic unit opened at 81.60 against the dollar, then touched 81.58, which led to overcoming an all-time low, which touched the 82 mark, against the USD on September 28. In addition, the dollar index rose 0.61% to 113.28.

Rupee Decline By All Time Low Of 40 Paise Against US Dollar

Rupee Dips By 30 Paise In Closing Trend, Currently At 79.47

In the closing trend, the rupee fell by 30 paise, at 79.47 against US Dollar, on September 14. As per the share market, the dollar index was trading at 0.35 per cent lower at 109.43. Brent crude futures, the global oil benchmark, advanced by 0.62 per cent to USD 93.75 per barrel. Rupee Rises By 23 Paise Against US Dollar, At 79.72
