Ankita Bhandari Killed After She Refused 'Special Services' To Resort Guests

The Uttarakhand police chief said that the 19-year-old receptionist, Ankita Bhandari, whose body was fished out from a canal on September 24, was being pressured by the resort owner to provide "special services" to guests. When refused, owner Pulkit Arya and his two staff killed the girl. The BJP leader Vinod Arya's son Pulkit has been arrested and an investigation is underway.

BJP Leader's Son Arrested In Murder Of 19 Year Old Girl: Uttarakhand

BJP leader's son Pulkit Arya and two of his employees have been arrested in the murder case of a 19-year-old receptionist of aPulkit's resort in Rishikesh, Uttarakhand, on September 23. Notably, the receptionist identified as Ankita Bhandari went missing four days ago, and her body was later found in Pauri Garhwal's Nandalsun belt on September 22. A case has been registered and three people arrested for further investigation.

Uttarakhand Police Files FIR Against Wasim Rizvi Over Hate Speech

Uttarakhand police registered a case against Wasim Rizvi, who recently turned Hindu, named as "Harbir Singh Narayan Tyagi".  The case has been registered under the Section 153A of IPC, for his " Hate Speech" at an event in Haridwar, Uttrakhand. As per police they filed the FIR taking cognizance of hate speech video, which is going viral on social media. Notably, Rizvi allegedly gave provocation speech against a specific religion.
