The Delhi government, to reduce air pollution from vehicular emissions, launched the "Red Light On, Gaadi Off" campaign on October 21. According to the campaign, about 2,500 civil defence volunteers along with transport department and environment marshals will urge people to switch off their vehicles at over 100 traffic signals.
