Indonesian Army Hints The End Of 'Virginity Tests' For Female Recruits

The mandatory and invasive 'virginity tests' for women recruits in the Indonesian army and sometimes wives of military personnel, may come to an end, the army hinted. The army had put through the female recruits to the “abusive, unscientific, and discriminatory tests," for decades, as per the Human Rights Watch. Even, the WHO has regarded this test as of “no scientific validity” and a “violation of victim’s human rights.”
