Kolkata: WBTC to Launch Cruise Ride on Hooghly River for just Rs 39
Tourists visiting Kolkata can experience a cruise ride of 90-mins on Hooghly river alongside Kolkata's heritage Landmarks from October 1. Reportedly, the service will be a round trip from Millennium Park Jetty, and costs Rs 39. The cruise will sail every day from 4-6 pm with additional two hours on the weekends. WBTC Managing Director Rajanvir Singh Kapur said, "the idea is to make heritage river cruise experience affordable and popular".

India To Witness its First Tram Library in Kolkata; Between 'Shyambazar' to 'Esplanade'
Kolkata will launch its first-ever specially designed 'Tram Library' on September 24, which also includes the competitive examination books. The Managing Director of WB Transport Corporation (WBTC), Rajanvir Singh Kapur said that the tram will run for 4.5 km regularly between Shyambazar to Esplanade, crossing the city's education hub- College Street.
