Indian Army's Stunt Team Sets World Record For Longest Fire Ride

Indian Army's ASC Motorcycle Display Team 'Tornadoes' broke a record that was held earlier by the South Africans. The stunt team's biker, Captain Shivam Singh travelled the longest fire tunnel of 127 metres in Bangalore to break the record previously held by two proteas - Enrico Schoeman and Andre de Kock. Aleem Dar Creates World Record For Umpiring Most ODIs

Pakistan's Aleem Dar set a world record for officiating most ODIs as an on-field umpire during Pakistan's second ODI against Zimbabwe on November 1 in Rawalpindi. The 52-year-old stood for 210 matches, which went past South African Rudi Koertzen’s record of officiating in 209 ODIs. Moreover, Dar also holds records for umpiring most number of Tests (132) as well as international matches (387).

Peres Jepchirchir Breaks Her Own World Record In Half Marathon

The Kenyan long-distance runner Peres Jepchirchir won gold at the World Athletics half marathon championship to beat her own women's half marathon world record. The 27-year-old had set the new record timing of one hour, five minutes, and 16 seconds, which is 18 seconds lesser from the previous record set by her in Prague this September. The marathon took place at a four-lap course in Gdynia, Poland.
