Coca-Cola To Sack 2,200 Workers, Shut Low-Selling Sub-Brands
Due to the COVID-19's impact on businesses, beverage-giant Coca-Cola has decided to sack at least 2,200 employees across the world. Reportedly, the decision came after its revenue had dropped to USD 8.7 billion during the pandemic-ridden period. Moreover, the company has decided to shut down its slow-selling subsidiary brands, including Zico coconut water. Coke CEO said, "...the pandemic helped us realize we could be bolder in our efforts.”
