Always Expected Second Wave Of Pandemic, Says Mumbai's Deputy MC
As India was gasping from the second COVID-19 wave with several shortages, Mumbai, fought the pandemic successfully. Mumbai's Deputy Muncipal Commissioner, Iqbal Chahal stated that rising cases were controlled with the help of field hospitals, rigorous sanitization of slums, 800 converted ambulances and many such positive steps. "We always expected a second wave of pandemic," Chahal added. Furthermore, huge volunteer efforts helped feeding the affected poor.
