Heatwaves Alert For North India, Likely To Continue Till April End: IMD
Alerting people amid heatwaves in North India, on April 28, Skymet Weather predicted the scorching heatwaves will continue till April-end. Furthermore, it is the first time in 122 years that Northwest India recorded the hottest March with an average maximum temperature of over 30.67 degrees Celsius. In addition, the IMD also issued heatwaves alert for Punjab, Haryana-Chandigarh, Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Bihar, Jharkhand, and West Bengal.
