Khargone Violence: Curfew Lifted After 24 Days Following Peace Committee Meeting
Madhya Pradesh's Khargone lifted the curfew, 24 days after it was imposed, on May 5. The curfew was imposed due to a communal violence that took place during a religious procession. The lifting of the curfew has come following a peace committee meeting by the administration. Notably, on April 10, violence erupted during the Ram Navami procession, which resulted in stone pelting and several persons being injured.
